My visits to Big Basin Redwoods form an arithmetic sequence; since it's October of an odd year, it seems I had to return. On October 11th I hiked a 12 mile loop, following the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail through redwood forest, past three waterfalls and back the Sunset Trail.
