On September 6th 2009, Hamilton Gardens ( in the Waikato) hosted the Tulip Festival to welcome the Spring flowers. The day was lovely and sunny and the gardens were enjoyed by hundreds of people wandering amongst the flowers and picnicing in the grounds. These Gardens are well worth visiting at any time of year as there is always something special to enjoy, whether there is an event on or not.
