This photo journal, part of my Australia series, features the Australia Zoo, home of the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. The zoo is located in Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast near the Glasshouse Mountains, just 45 minutes north of Brisbane. (Steve died in 2006 after being fatally pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming in Australia's Great Barrier Reef.)
