I put a Botero photo on my refrigerator. Hope it helps keep me from looking like his statues.

Thanks a LOT for your wonderful photos, I loved all the flowers, esp! I was a bit surprised to see all the Botero sculptures, and also a bit NERVOUS, for fear we might all be heading to those shapes??!!!

Thanks for the flower help. I was not much for flowers until I started hiking in the Pacific NW and saw a lot along the trails. I haven't been to Maui in awhile and was trying to identify the ones along the beach.

"Mahalo!" for those wonderful photos on Maui. I am a great fan of your Pacific Northwest fotos. I believe your photo (#13) labeled ginger is actually a bromeliad. #44 (yellow flowers) are wedelia. Just prior to that (#43) is a tiare aka Tahitian Gardenia. The plant just next to your bird of paradise is a medinilla...or it certainly looks like a variety of one. I am not an expert on plants but, in my aging years, I am beginning to take more notice of the flowers along the trail....
