I spent only seven days in Yellowstone National Park in July 2009. I will always remember how beautiful and full of wildlife it was.
The best approach is through the West Yellowstone entrance, up the Madison River Valley. As you ascended the Madison River Valley you will enjoy the best part of the park. Most of the best photos of wildlife were taken in this valley. This approach takes you into the heart of the park, with the best access to the park.
