This series of seven photos was taken

while we were in the safari vehicle on the bank of a dry river bed. At the conclusion of the elephants' activity, the mother and the baby's sibling walked away from the waterhole and made one authorative sound which meant, under no uncertain terms, that the baby should be with the mother and not still at the waterhole.
