Almost the entire 120 mile Algarvian coast looks like a series of picture postcards, but one place stands out above all others. By following Lagos’ waterfront promenade past the Bandeira fort, you reach the newer section of town: then it's only a short drive or hike south to what I consider the prettiest spot on the entire coast, Ponta da Piedade.
