Traveling about in Dubai, especially if the people who have arranged the tour are trying to avoid any suggestion that they omitted this or that important aspect of the place, Will likely leave you with a certain amount amount of mental overload. What it was that we saw prior to heading for lunch to the Atlantis Hotel, I have not the slightest idea. We saw a lot of things about the place, but it feels a bit like tumbling down a hill, and seeing as you go rolling, head over heels, the various places as you passed by them.

It was an impressive place!
At the end of the corridorI could see what seemed to be a large window. But...

Gradually it became dimmer still, --
- - - then when we came to a huge glass window, intended, perhaps, to impress...

Instead of flowers, lawns and a park,- -
there was water! Lots of it. And in it were the denizens of the ocean....

And like us, staring out,
- - - they looked at us, wondering, perhaps, just what it was we were doing...
