On July 5, 2010 Clara and I played around Tuolumne Meadows before sleeping at the backpackers' camp there on the eve of my birthday backpacking trip. We waded in Tenaya Lake, strolled around the meadows, climbed Pothole Dome, which we had to ourselves, and meandered along the Lyell Fork of the Tuolumne River.
