June 30, 2010 as we were driving south on I-15 we detoured to Cedar Breaks National Monument after noticing it is not far from Cedar City, Utah our destination for the night. Cedar Breaks NM has a five-mile road that follows the rim of the eroded rock amphitheater with four scenic overlooks. There are a few hiking trails and meadows on the high plateau which becomes fields of wildflowers. Before heading into the park we drove up to Brian's Head Peak to walk around and take in the views.
