Iceland has long been on our "must see" list and before this years volcanic eruption, we booked a one week long self-drive tour with Discover Iceland for mid July. There were times earlier in the year when we wondered if we would get there but in the event, we had no problems and Iceland did much more than live up to our expectations. The scenery is really amazing and spectacular and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
