Lalbagh Botanical Gardens is one of the most pleasant places in Bangalore. It was founded in 1740, and has expanded since then to 240 acres that feature rare plants and interesting structures. It has been compared to Kew Gardens of London. Bangaloreans treasure their city's green spaces (locally referred to as lung space), and Lalbagh has thousands of visitors every day.
