Bald Hill Nature Conservation Reserve is located on Bowrings Road, Red Hill, about 80 km south of Melbourne, near the Arthur's Seat National Park.

A pedestrian entrance is located at the end of Bowrings Road connecting with the reserve's walking tracks. The reserve is 23ha in size and offers panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay.
