Thanks, It appeared that there was some kind of plantation in the area along the trail with all the different kinds of crop plants in the area

Thanks for these wonderful photos! I'm a lifelong resident of Hawai'i but i'm discovering a lot more of these islands from your photos. A trip to Mau'i, i think, is next on my agenda. That yellow flower, I believe, is from the hau tree...which is related to the hibiscus. It undergoes a color change as it matures.... Mahalo!
