<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> The Old Jewish Town Hall<br> Sightseeing in Prague picture - was one of the few buildings that survived the 1893 razing of the quarter. The funds to build the town hall were provided by Mordecai Maisel, a Jewish leader whose wealth was comparable to that of the Rothschild family of bankers. The town hall was built in 1586 but remodeled with a Baroque facade in the 18th century. The famous Hebrew clock, which has numbers in Hebrew and runs backwards, is a favorite tourist attraction in the quarter. I had a picture of the clock but I accidentally deleted it ;o( You can be see it here: http://tinyurl.com/3yvjh3p </div></nolayer></noembed>
