Prague - Olsanske Cemetery

Olsanske Cemetery, in "living" color! It was pouring rain & gloomy the day we visited this ancient old cemetery, so my photos were dark & brooding. I therefore decided to turn the cemetery into a colorful garden by swapping the RGB channel when editing. I hope you don't mind ;o)

So this photo journal, part of the Prague series, features Olsanke Cemetery, located on Vinohradská Road in the Vinhorady section of the east side of the city. (The nearby metro station is Flora.)

Thanks for your nice comments Emily. I didn't use a filter. I used a feature in my photo editing software (Photofiltre) that swaps the RGB (red, green, blue) colors/tones in the original photo to another set of colors. I have a choice of 5 sets. So instead of a drab & dreary cemetery, you saw a colorful garden. The one added feature of using that color/tone switch is that one can see the finer details better.

Wow! You put those in the right order... From the simpler to the outrageously huge -- Toward the end of this folio, I thought I was looking at a village street scene! Loved the statuary, and your choice of color/filter you used -- gave an errie, surreal effect to the collection. Good job!
