This new terminal of the Indira Gandhi International Airport of Delhi was just completed in time for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, which was held in Delhi, just one month right before our visit.

The two-storey terminal is the world’s 8th largest passenger terminal. It occupies an area of 502,000 m2 & has a capacity of handling 34 million passengers per year.
