<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Our cabin (4): the porthole<br> Central America picture - The water seen on the outside of the porthole demonstrated the danger of allowing passengers the choice of opening the porthole. Just the water being splashed up by the motion of the WIND STAR through the water, would have created a wet, unpleasant, and potentially dangerous mess. The hinge and the arc that is visible on the right side of the port, is part of the metal safety device which allows the porthole to be sealed if anything should break the glass and thus allow water to enter. </div></nolayer></noembed>
