In September 2010 we visited Samburu and Buffalo Springs. They are located on the edge of the very dry country that makes up northern Kenya. Many of the animals here are different than those found in the southern areas and the Masai Mara.At the time of year we were there it was the dry season and the animals were concentrated near the river.
