We spent five glorious days in the Masai Mara during mid-September of 2010. We saw more animals here than anywhere else in Kenya. Unfortunately, we saw more tourists too but since we were part of the crowd we can't complain. Our last evening it rained and the roads were so slick we didn't go on a game drive but by morning all was well with the world and we enjoyed one last look. We only saw the eastern part of the Mara and didn't get to the Mara Triangle which was a disappointment for me since I follow events there on ... (more)
