Amboseli National Park is in south central Kenya on the border with Tanzania. It is close to Kilimanjoro and midway between Nairobi and Mombasa. We had intended to spend three days there but two proved to be enough to see the Park. It was dusty and windy and we moved on after two days. It was late September 2010 and near the end of the dry season and that probably contributed to the dust but it also concentrated the animals around the marshes.
