We visited the Tsodilo Hills, in northwest Botswana, in June 2008. This is a site that is sacred to the natives and has long been a site of worship. The beauty of the rocks rival that of the stained glass of any of the World's great churches. There is a sense of history and a feeling of worship in these hills. As I sat and pondered the rock paintings, that grace the area, I could almost sense the spirits of those who left thier marks on the rocks thousands of years in the past.
