In June of 2008 we spent three days floating the Zambezi River in canoes. It was the trip of a life-time. The trip was fairly ease, the current did most of the work, except the last day when high winds made it much harder. We floated for about five hours each morning and then stopped for lunch and then floated for another five hours. We would then find a likely-looking island and put ashore and set up camp.
