We visited Mahangu Lodge, and the Mahango Game Park, near the end of our safari in June 2008. We had just left Botswana and crossed into Namibia near the western end of the Caprivi Strip. This narrow strip of land lies between Botswana to the south and Angola to the north. The Lodge was on the bank of the Okavango River and it was one of the best places we stayed.
