Clara and I spent the weekend in the Eastern Sierras near Lee Vining. On October 15th we hiked up Lundy Canyon, through and above magnificent aspens. The sun, however, refused to shine and the clouds refused to part. In the afternoon I went to Mono Lake. The next day we drove up the Conway Summit and looked down on colorful aspens before heading home.
