These pix were taken on November 9, 2011, in the Fiddler Gully Historical; Precinct, Warrandyte State Park, 15 km east of central Melbourne.

The Gully was the site of extensive alluvial goldmining between 1851 and 1910, but little trace remains of those activities, except for some mounds of tailings and shafts.
