Large rocks moving across a dry lake bed in a remote area of Death Valley, California, USA. To date, there is no explanation of the mechanism by which these rocks move in different directions, change directions or move as a group. The rocks leave very evident furrows in the mud. Also present are ridges in the mud surface.
