From January 6, 2012 my wife and I spent two weeks at the Sonesta Great Bay Resort at the Dutch side of this small Caribbean island. Although showing its age this 270 room resort is well maintained and we'd both go back in a minute's notice. Both staff and food were generally excellent. The majority of holiday goers when we stayed were from Canada. Almost all staff spoke excellent English and were able to speak several other languages.
