This lake, near Fussen, with the little village and mountains in the background, is one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. We were on our way to Fussen, late in the day, around 7 pm, when we rounded a corner and came upon this beautiful scene. We parked the corner and wandered around for 20 minutes or so, taking photos from every angle. It is one of my favourite photos of the entire trip and I have an 11 x 14 hanging in my living room.
