In November on 2011 we took an excusion on a jet boat up the Harrison River to the Chehalis flats to view the annual gathering of bald eagles that come to feed on the spawned salmon. This area of the Fraser Valley is about an hours drive east of greater Vancouver. From mid October to late January the eagles come and it is well worth a trip to see one of the largest concentrations of predators in the world.
