Steve drove the Intercity coach from Franz Josef to Nelson. I was glad he was driving and not me! A lot of the terrain was twisty-turny and scary. The weather was overcast as we left but by Hokitika it had cleared - I guess we got lucky again.
We stayed in Nelson overnight and continued on to Picton by coach - and then transferred to the ferry to Wellington. The weather was mostly ho hum.
