Jade Buddha temple is one of the important tourist destinations in Shanghai. The temple is a holy place for Buddhists. But even if you are not a Buddhist, it is worth paying a visit there. People of all religions are welcome. I went there alone without a guide. That's why I did not understand a lot of things because of language barrier. Nevertheless, I was so amazed to see the different parts of the temple and the activities of the devotees that I spent a couple of hours there without realizing it!
