You have given us another 'adventure' location. My husband loves this kind of history so we will be making the trip from Yuma to Palm Springs next winter to see this. We visited the USS Midway aircraft carrier in San Diego, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

This article sure flies!!!
You must have been thrilled to visit this museum Fred and see so many of your much loved airplanes. My brother read everything he could get his hands on about the war. Turns out his father was a gunner on one of those planes and was killed doing that during the war so he would have loved to see your article. Of course for a novice like me, the Hawk one with the shark's teeth stands out. I'm reminded by the incredible courage those pilots must have had. No wonder so many were awarded crosses etc. Thanks for taking the time to prepare this most interesting article.
