If you were to ask the typical person: what do you think is the most popular castle in Japan? What would they say? In my opinion, the most popular castle in Japan is not at Osaka or Kyoto or anything like that, but actually within the grounds of Tokyo Disneyland. Cultural purists might lament the fact, but that is simply the way it is.
