It is true that Tokyo Disneyland is one of Japan's major tourist attractions, particularly for Chinese and Taiwanese and other East Asian tourists. I think it epitomises the unique Japanese talent for simulation -- for making perfect copies of external worlds, and making them even more real than the real. The attention to detail in Japanese simulations can really be profound.
