Even if Tokyo Disneyland is a simulation of the real Disneyland in Los Angeles (which in turn is only a simulation of reality), nonetheless, I think the original Japanese spirit shines through. Japanese culture is adaptive -- it can change with time. But the Japaneseness of Japan will always remain, even in a Japan covered with McDonalds and Starbucks Coffee Shops and Mickey Mouse T-shirts.
