From May 14-21, 2011, I enjoyed a week-long stay at the Timothy Beach Resort in St. Kitts. Located in the Frigate Bay area of the island, it is the only island resort located on a Caribbean beach; the other side of the island faces the Atlantic Ocean. Basseterre, the capital city of the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis, is only 10 minutes away by taxi and therefore easily accessible for sightseeing and shopping.
