Bolster, who had an interest in a local brickyard, built this Queen Anne house in 1890 as a showplace to advertise the practicality of brick as a building material since it would allow the most elegant of style and be fire proof as well. The red brick used to construct the house can still be seen in the two chimneys. </div></nolayer></noembed>
