The Pickersgill property was the site of Robinson's Sawmill No. 1, between 1911 and 1922. Logs were carried down a timber tramway from the Cement Creek and Mt Donna Buang areas. This crossed the present-day Mt Donna Buang Rd (at that time a bridle track) then over the Aqueduct at Pickersgills Bridge, then in to the Pickersgills property. The actual Mill site is shown on this 1920 MMBW map, indicated with an arrow. It is now private property.
