Returning to Aix from Avignon, I felt some of its power. Having stepped out of our bus too take some pictures, I had my glasses ripped off my nose and deposited some six to eight feet away on a well-packed gravel lot where we had stopped. Had they landed somewhere farther off, in the grass or among some bushes, I might have had a hard time retrieving them.|
Even though the sky in this photo, as it often is when the mistral blows, its colour and that of the water has certainly changed from their usually friendly blue.
