The rainy season runs from June to September so we could not complain about the downpours every day. Apart from the spectacular Pagodas and temples and the beautiful golf course, my main memory will be of the lovely polite people.

Everyone from our regular driver to the hotel staff could not have been nicer. We also found some very good restaurants thanks to TripAdviser.

It was a worthwhile visit however at this stage I think there are more interesting Asian countries to see before you go to Burma. ... (more)
