I live down the lake about 4 miles and I see the views of Doctor Childs house everyday. I realize that him and his wife love this home because about 10 years ago this house caught fie and burned to the ground. They rebuilt the structure back exactly as it was, and it is quite nice inside. The view from the house is able to look upon the town of Kingston.
