This photo journal, part 1 of a 2 part series, features many photos from my rewarding visit to the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum located 8 miles south of Moose Jaw just off Highway 2. The site has many displays of life on the prairies including many historic buildings that have been moved from surrounding communities & farms & set up to mimic that of a small farming town from the early 1900s to 1930s.
