Thank you for your appreciation of this article. It was a long & sometimes difficult task to photograph & identify these flowers, but also labor-of-luv for me. If this article can help anyone else identify, even one, of their favorite flowers ... then I have done my job!

Glad you enjoyed the photography. You questioned one plant as possibly being mislabed. Phew! Only one? Pentas (Star Flower) are related to the tropical plant Ixora. I believe you are referring to the photograph of the red clustered flower on which a green butterfly rests. I will add a notation to the bottom of this photo, suggesting that the identification is in question. Thank you for the tip .... Laurel

Very Colorful!
As a landscape contractor I must say this is a great selection of plants. We use quite a number of these in my south Texas area. You may have mislabeled the one picture as Ixora....it appears to be Penta. None the less, all well photographed!
