Clara above Castle Domes Meadow<br> The High Sierras picture - We climbed from the creek up and out of Paradise Valley, through a stretch of burned woods with lingering smoke in a few spots. (The rangers had told us about this and that the remains of the fire were being allowed to burn out.) As we continued to ascend, we could look west down the valley and east down to the meadow here, beneath the domes.
