Since this photograph is taken with a view almost parallel to Cours Mirabeau and the business with the red awning ison one of the little, narrow side lanes, This photo gives an idea of how much sidewalk width is allowed for pedestrians, Especially since what is visible here is only about half of the actual width. Some of the other eating establishments to be found on Cours Mirabeau are: Bistro Romain, Bastide de Cours, La Belle Epoque, Les Deux Gar, Le Roi René, Brasserie le Splendid. Most, if not all of these give their customers the choice of eating their meal outside like "Les Deux Garçons", shown here, beneath a canvas cover.
