A big event for us: after more than 50 years away from the Bay Area, we're headed back to our roots in Northern California.
After 23 wonderful years in Dana Point, we were leaving for the next chapter in our lives. We were going to The Sequoia, a senior residence in the beautiful Portola Valley, about an hour south of our home town of San Francisco.
But it wasn't easy. Here's our first week.
