ms - Note the brick firewall
Sightseeing in Saskatchewan picture - is one of the main historical buildings along main street. Along with the fire hall, it was built after the 1915 fire that destroyed much of Ogema's Main Street to prevent any future fires from spreading. The wall is significant because it was considered a foolish investment by government officials who said it wouldn't last more than a decade. Now, some 100 years later it is one of the only structures of its kind in Saskatchewan. The boarded up building on the left was a hardware store.
