Forest fires changed our plans of hiking in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, instead we drove around the area, found the American Indian Rockshelter and had a picnic lunch at Alturus Lake and drove the Trail Creek Road starting from Sun Valley. I do hope the winter snows come early and put out those fires.
