GREECE 1998

Greece is a country to which I have no particular connection except a deep love for its rugged beauty, its amazing art and culture, and the genuine kindness of the people I have met. This trip was made before I moved from point-and-shoot to my 35mm Canon Rebel G. Now I have a Canon Elan 7e and I think that is a good reason to return!

My sister, BJ Printz, died of malignant melanoma in October, 2002. Traveling and photography were her favorite things. I hope all will continue to appreciate her photographs of the places she visited.

Thanks for photos of Greece! The one of the Evzone (guard) was not at the Parliament but at the former King's palace. Did you know, in "olden times" the statues and heads were made separately, thus when a new person came into power, they could just replace his/her head?!! That is why you see so many headless statues all over the place! Keep on sending more photos of wonderful Greece!
